I'm gonna quickly assume we are meeting at 8 am on that saturday of the parade and have ourselves some delicious cornbread...

Outcry and myself are going to be baking as much as we can feed.

if anyone else would like to volunteer to bring things like orange juice, milk, more cornbread, or any thing else that's breakfast-y, I ENCOURAGE IT :) and also POST WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO BRING :) please :)

if I remember correctly we meet up for breakfast at the table and get our parade ribbons passed out then.

Actually, we may need to meet earlier. As soon as Kev (or anyone who remembers!) I believe we meet at 7:30. Can't recall if we pass out the ribbons then or just before we meet up for the parade.

If memory serves me right, the Parade starts at 10, we need to be geared up and meet for the Parade at 9:00.

8:00 may not be soon enough to eat and get back to rooms & gear up & return at 9-

Anyone remember those details from last year? Memorys a bit fuzzy here, (don't know why... :mrgreen: )

My memory is fuzzy too ... I think the parade kicks off at 10am but groups have to assemble by 9:30ish?

I can't remember what time breakfast started - the Brits were late ... - but I think we met for breakfast in full gear and moved out together from the table?

Yes, we have met around 7-7:30 in previous years and I assume this year will be no different. Gives us plenty of time to get ourselves together, fed, geared up, and over to the park as a group.

Passing out ribbons will be up to Rex this year, I would assume, but I would recommend we pass them out at breakfast before the parade. As far as I'm aware, if you lose that ribbon, you don't march ;)

Not everyone shows up for breakfast though (nor in their parade costume), so there's bound to be some people needing ribbons at the meet up before leaving for the park, even if only to fix it to their costume somehow. :)

Latest count for the parade is close to 30 people.

Obviously we're not expecting 2 or 3 people to provide food and drinks for that entire number, but, you know... We'd like to end up with enough for everyone to at least have a snack and a gulp or two of juice or coffee to get their morning started.

Of course, the more people that can bring something, the better.

As Cpl Potter said, we'll be meeting at the fan table in the Hyatt.

Will the table be set up friday....or better yet...where will the table be...I can't head up to atlanta til friday night. I know there will be two aliens and two pred's in our group...and a uscm pilot. Again I was wondering about the pred's. I know there is a pred group that goes to DC, but we are kinda renegade, would we be welcom'ed at the marine table??? just trying to find some allies. [: we could trade some of our pred technology for cornbread. Can't wait to finaly meet everyone.
