We've got to have parade totals in by the 2nd week of July. That ain't too far away. While we will request extra, this is a huge, huge drop from the last two years!

Remember last year? We were asked to Lead The Parade! What an honor for the Corps! You telling me we can't follow up by not breaking 20 Marines the following year??

Kinda the new guy here...but by ''D*con '' is that dragon con in atlanta GA. Also how does one join the ranks your costuming group. When it comes to costuming, does the costume have to be movie quality,? and what kind of costumes do you allow. I have several alien costumes, and I have a few friends who have alien costumes also. The only complete marine costumes that I have are pilot costumes. Made a few for a project [fanfilm] Does one have to get there costume approved first before joining a group. Also is there a predator fan group going to be at D-con. several years ago I did a costuming panel there on how to make pred costumes. Just never joined a group.

Yes, DCon is DragonCon in Atlanta. In parades past, we have the Alien from the films and Predators. Pretty much just those two types of Alien Creatures. As far as humans go, just give it your best shot! Pilot costumes are more than welcome! We as a group are much more tolerant of costumes than other, costuming groups are. There's no one to send in pics of your costume for approval. Sure, as a goal, whether it be long term or short term, we'd like everyone to be as accurate as possible. But, the enjoyment of Alien and Aliens is the prime qualification for membership in the Aliens Legacy Forum. No two budgets are alike, and it may take some more or less time to get a full set of USCM Armor, a Pulse Rifle or Flame Unit, Camos, etc. Until then, bring what you can and enjoy being in the Corps!

There are always Predators at DCon. I don't know how organized they are. Most Preds hang out at The Hunter's Lair.
