The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just a note, the Marriott is the new Hyatt. Spat is moving his office to the Marriott for this year.

Please plan accordingly.

The fan table will have to be manned until at least 2000hrs (8pm for the rest of us  )- leaving it unattended before then (to leave for the AL dinner) and we risk being banned from returning next year.

I thought the meal was 8:30pm last year- and figured it would be the same this year.

Your schedule is a little tight around the parade times. We gather for the parade at 0900hrs. It kicks off at 1000hrs, and will probably end around 1100hrs. From there you want to start scoping out the sweep? What about lunch?

FYI, the pocket guide says the X-Track Aliens panel with Michael Biehn is at 1pm on Saturday (A601-602) Marriott.

The two Apocalypse (Terminator, etc.) panels are at 1pm on Friday (Reg VI-VII Hyatt) and Sunday (Grand Ballroom A-F Sheraton).

Yeah, I saw that too.

I also saw mention (it may have been in last year's guide too) about no licenced music to be played.

That kind of messes up my Spattle outfit, but I'll just have to do without.

You sure that's Saturday night and not Sunday night?

It's usually Sunday night that they close early if I remember correctly.

EDIT- just read that. Hopefully it's a typo.

Nope...no alcohol sales on Sunday for places that dont serve food.....so Saturday at midnight is correct I believe.
Thats why we hit that "licka stow" on the corner to stock up on Saturday!!

Cpl Potter, U can bring "6" in a backpack, it's done all the time. When I was in my Deathstar Construction Worker outfit, I'd have bottles in my tool pouches... ;)

Damn, dinner is at 8:00?? Sheeeee*it, I'll be starvin' Marvin' by then...  I thought we had it earlier last year? No? A little late to bitch?

Lookin' forward to walking into Cpl Hicks panel with all of us in full battle gear! Hope he gets a big a kick out of us as Lance did last year!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

BTW, GREAT MOVE DOM to have this USCM Events List for us all! Very damn good thinking!

I can't wait for the Pre-Sweep on Friday. I sure won't be in USCM gear, but I'll be geared up, of a different sort! Been working my ass off on a new outfit, cutting leather, stitching the damn stuff, looking at screen caps "If his hand looks to be 5", then the belt should be..."
