The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Edit: Woo, I feel special now, too!

Man, there's some REALLY good action shots of everyone in that album.

Also, the raw Sweep footage is uploading right now, should be done by morning. Between the two files, it's about 1.3 GB, so fair warning.

Tony- I never really did get a good look at your custom IMP pack and now with this great picture I just wanted to say what a great job you did on it!

Looks right as it should out of the Tech Manual! :D 8)

Thanks guys.
It was a simple build a few years ago.
It needs more straps and more weathering....I have 12 months though.

$5 backpack at Walmart, mailing tube (left over from the SADAR build), some floristry foam rounded off to form the head of the SADAR round and a bit of handy dandy stitching for the entrenching tool.
Found a cheap camping blanket holder I attached to one side (great for holding spare flamethrower reservoirs) and walla!!
I had some trouble getting the top of the backpack to stay flat so I used the metal part of the cement trowl (used the handle on the SADAR) and sewed it into the top. did the trick :)
Stuffed with packing nuggets to keep it padded out and I'm good to go :)

I personally think this is what attaches to the 3 clips on the back of the armor....but mine is just velcro on the inside.

If the floral foam doesn't hold up, I'd use a plastic Easter egg.

Also, why did you sew the entrenching tool cover,?
Seems like a lot of extra work, when you can get them for $10
Just curious
