I have too many reservations about the convention itself to attend.

"Premiere Convention"?

Yeah right. The ONLY convention really in the panhandle and they act like they are gracing the state with the best con ever.

I see what your saying but at the same time a marketing slogan like
"we're OK, not the best but worth a look" probably wouldn't entice too many people in. If you don't big yourself up, no one else will as they say.

Guilty as charged! I'm putting together a Deckhand character, an electronics specialist - hence the name. It's kind of an homage to what I used to do in the Navy. I'm going to specialize my toolbelt with electronics tools, multimeter, wire strippers, a loop of Coax cable hanging off my belt, etc etc.
