Post subject:  DragonCon Mugshot postings.
For those of you going to DC, please post an image of yourself in or out [NOT Naked!] of costume so we can put faces to names in advance.

I'll kick it off...

I actually don't have a "large" head shot, so this will have to suffice.

Is "Brak's Buddy" doing a photo shoot at Dcon this year?

Alright, here's a pic of me. Haven't been able to find a better pic, nor take a new one...This pic is moments after I shaved off the mustache I had for over 20 yrs... It's pretty easy to read my emotion... :roll: :lol:

You guys are great!!!! :lol: :lol:

And, two years ago, I did a Capt. Jack Sparrow!! It was great! One of the most fun outfits I've ever done! I will continue to upgrade him (need coat & hat, correct buckles for belt and baldric...) I watched over and over his walk down the pier to get it right. And his mannerisms. The best compliment I got was "You look like Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack Sparrow!" That made all the effort worthwhile! :D
I thought about bringing Capt. Jack or Aragorn to the Con, but you gotta be scruffy to play them...

And couldn't do it w/ the USCM!! :D

Although Chris, I must confess...I shaved off the 'stache last Fall to be the Batman! I have a screen accurate Batman Forever Batsuit. Alot of fun, great reactions. Capt. Jack and Batman get the most attention from the ladies that's for sure...but the latex body armor is meant for night...in the fall or winter. I did a birthday party in May and was baking in 15 min. Our town has a local parade, and our office went as Superheroes, it was a lot of fun, but I switched to a "summer version" Batsuit. Underarmor and a paintball torso armor. Went over really well The parade was great, but once in the May Fair for the meet and greet...even with the underarmor, I was soon wearing an oven...had to jet out 2 hrs early...

So, Atlanta in the summer...uh-huh!

It's the Colonial Marines for me!!
I'm going to go trick out my USCM gear even more now!!!

Yeah..Atlanta in the summer is murder...thats why we all stayt indoors at DC...except for the parade..and the walks to where ever we eat.

Sadly, no. :( Had the money till just a month ago, then it was a $300 timing belt replacement on our car and then another $320 to replace our washer that gave up the mechanical ghost.

= $620 = the trip to Dcon = me not going

Next year. Been saying that ever since Dcon 2001.
