That was really cool.

I think maybe the dialogue from the characters should be muted behind the soundtrack as I couldn't really make it out so it just seemed like noise in the background. The sounds of the M56 etc worked very well though I thought. Maybe the scene of Hudson going crazy would be good for the M41A introduction as it's more in line with the action seen for the M56.

Hope you don't mind my criticism/advice. One last thing though about the Wiezbowski shot, I'm sure that's Spunkmeyer at the table next to Hicks.

The thing is theres no really good shots of 'Bowski. Same with Crowe, hence the reason I had to slow his down. I may just cut 'Bowski out altogether

Yeah I was going to mention the Spunkmeyer thing...

There are only three semi-ok shots of 'Bowski:

1- During the messhall scene, right after Ripley knocks the tray out of Bishop's hand- and everyone turns to look...

2- When they are in the hive, right after they are told to collect all magazines- 'Bowski is starring almost into the camera as Apone says "Head 'em out people".

3- And finally the shot where the PR ammo bag is on fire and about to blow up- Hicks grabs 'Bowski by the back of his armour and yells "COME ON!!!" (probably the one I would use as it's an action shot).

Otherwise I like the piece! Nice little side connection with "Predator" on your song choice.

Awesome Sarg - will use that one of 'Bowski.

Always wanted to try and do a scene of marines in an APc style surrounding on a drop............like they have at the start of Predator. Then at the end we all pile out into the Marriot hotel

I actually like how you slowed down the Crowe shot, i think it looked quite effective.

I'd go with the shot of Bowski staring almost into the camera like the Sarg mentioned above.

Hey Tony, could you use a different format besides .wmv like perhaps .avi, .mov or the best is .mpg The .wmv are flaky and quality is usually low. Just a little tip.

I checked out the other Bowski shot but Apone walks in front of him and slowing it down would still only give me about 2 seconds.............

I have it in AVI format, its about 500MB.
I only used the WMV for size to host it for you guys. I'm keeping the nice large file for D Con
DivX would make it a lot smaller, but didn't want the FivX symbol on it and I've not figured out how to remove it yet.

The song cuts off abruptly at the very end.
Might want to cut the last verse of the song into the end,
so that it appears the video ends at the same time the song does.

It just played it from that link and the end of the song fades out about a second before it actually ends.

This is what I hear at the end...

"WOooO have some fun tonight,
Everything's all right."... and then a final piano note.

The true end of the song is:

"WOooO have some fun tonight,
Everything's all right.
Have some fun, have me some fun tonight!"
... then ends with a fade note.

Without those last 8 words there is no wind down.
It seems like an abrupt stop.

My only comment would be that I still think you should use a shot of the M41A "in action" as all the other weapons shown are "in use" situations and I think this would tie in better.

Well slap on the wrist for me as I downloaded it from a torrent site in avi format.
However I own it about 3 times over on DVD/VHS so I figured it was ok.

sorry it wasn't playing this year at D Con....reason being the power guys came about 4pm on Friday to hook us up and we deemed it kind of stupid to pay the $70 when we'd already missed one day through no fault of our own.
