We're all invited, but it's a matter of whether we get in line early enough for seats.... A group of us just barely made the room capacity cut last year.

BTW Rook! CAn we get this as a sticky till after con?

Thanks!

Awesome idea Dave.

Colony Sweep - Saturday late afternoon?
Mall should be really busy then.
Infact why not move it around more of the mall, see how many of us can get arrested?

Raffle.......after the sweep when we all head back to the table?

I won't be at the Spat contest, but I'll be at the other events :)

Last year we did Hooters on Sunday around dinner time (6pm or so).

For a group shot with everyone- best time is right before/after the parade.

So, when we go to Hooters on Sunday night, are we going in full USCM gear or just as civilians? 8)

And I do expect to see more of you grunts hanging out at the Hyatt bar, and coming to my other panels as well! It seems like every year, as soon as you guys finish eating, you're all gone and hiding for the rest of the night!

TMI, Tony. TMI. ;)

Spat, when are your panels?

Has anyone entertained the idea about going to Airsoft Atlanta? I don't even know where the place is aside from the obvious.

Also, are there any plans for Supper Saturday night? The SGC.Net is having a meal Sunday night from 6-8 but I'd hate to miss out on the Hooters expedition that night.

I'm trying to organise something for Saturday night as I won't be at the Spat Event. I won't know until I'm at the con though on final details.

Needless to say though we'll do something regardless.

I never know all my panels until I get there, but if you check the DragonCon website:

www.dccostumetrack.com/

There are some listed there, but there may be more from other tracks that grab me.

Pretty close by, assuming you have transport available. If you can get some directions from mapquest, it is pretty easy to go in the morning when the con is not very busy.

Every

single

year. :|

And every year- I can't find the time to pull myself away from the Con.

Umm... unless you are going to be in Atlanta Thursday afternoon or staying Monday- the Con is always going to be busy. Friday is check-in and basically a big reunion. We have the Parade Saturday morning and IIRC Airsoft Atlanta is closed Sundays. :(

It's not really anything special. I mean it's cool to be in a shop full of airsoft, but the shop is kinda small, and some of the display springers are broken, and it's not really a big place. You can see the whole place in 2 seconds.

And you'd probably be looking at a 40 minute drive from downtown. It's well away from the city.

I'm not saying don't go, I'm just saying don't expect to be wowed or anything.

I second what Noeland said...its not that special....It would be a wasted trip IMHO....besides, anyone who rides with me has to call shotgun...I have a Mazda RX8...ask Noeland, its small.
