I hope it's okay to share this on here. The Science Fiction Coalition is a charitable organization for cosplayers to participate in for great causes. It formed in San Diego, but has recently branched out into Los Angeles as well as a couple of states in the United States. I'm not sure about where yet, but I recommend looking into this for anyone on this forum who'd like the idea of gearing up in your USCM gear to participate in charitable causes.
