I went to three game stops to see if there going to do a midnite launch for aliens. 2 said no, one said maybee. I might just go the day of release in my warrior alien costume and pick up the game. Hope every one else has better luck. Please post what you guys are doing for the launch!

I HIGHLY doubt my "local" (an hour and a half away) EB Games is doing a midnight launch. In fact I am pretty sure I was the only one to preorder it haha. I will show up in my UACM uniform though

Ive got a slight new ray of hope, but still not looking good.

The Gamestop where I had my pre-order with (who was 100% not doing the midnight launch) apparently is closing this month so they transferred my pre-order to a bigger location. The new location says a midnight launch is still a bit of a long shot, but they wouldn't rule it out. Better than nothing I suppose.

same here my store has no clue but they say if any1 does they will since for some reason out of all of San diego this one is the most traffic but yet its way out in the sticks kinda. but they loved the idea of me and the wife min. showing up. if not i will just pick it up the next day in armor.

IM very cool with my gamestop manager and he says they'll know about a week out. Also this is the video game off season. The game stops get midnite release money to host a midnite release depending on how well a game pre sells. Fingers crossed

thats the same my store said is they will know later then sooner. but with the amount of covrage this game is getting we should see a few launches.

As of Tuesday my store which is a bit far out of the main SD area said they are one of the biggest stores for launches. an dthey will be having one. so expect Drop pix from that. kinda did tell them to tell district that if they have a party they will have atleast 3 CM's there in armor. so that might have helped.

Well, I just got my hopes up then had them smashed. My pre-order had been placed at a smaller location that actually moved, so they transferred it to another location. I just found out there are 2 gamestops near me and ONE is indeed doing a midnight launch. One is not.

Guess which one my pre-order got transferred to?!

So I had a 50/50 shot and lost. I asked if I can move my pre-order to the other location, but the guy says since the special editions were sold out, it was too late to try and change it (I guess my special edition was already en route or something?)

Good times...

Just go to the other store to help show off. and yes games ship a week or more before launch so all the stores have them on hand already.i have many friends that work at Gamestops. but hey maybe you will get a free copy from the other store if you go i would just to hang out thats y i go to launches.
