The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Marines,
Ok, here we go again. TONY PLEASE GET MY BADGE! Since I'm making my usual 'registration recon' early Thurs, I'd like an idea of people showing up that day (or before). This could save me a lot of time and trips to the Sheraton. Anyone showing up on Thurs (or earlier), please sound off here and let me know your predicted time of arrival. I'll prolly make myself available at a rally point location(Marriott bar perhaps, or lobby or Sheraton, to be announced later) to consolidate badge pick-up requests, assuming the line at registration is a horror. Last year the new 'system' suffered a few hiccups and made the wait even longer than ever for a few unfortunate souls. Some marines found out that if you register ON SITE, you can get your badge in under 20 mins. All you have to do is bite your lip and pay the extra cash. Again, no promises. If for some reason the reg staff won't let me sneak around as usual. Some (or most) of you will be stuck making new friends in the pre-reg line. I would also ask if some of you are willing to go on your own early on Thursday to make my life easier and lighten my work load, I'd REALLY appreciate it.

*END TRANSMISSION*

Cherie and I will be there first thing Thursday (and I mean FIRST thing).

For anyone not familiar with Dragon Con this is possibly the most important recon mission next to either the con-sluts party or any of the bars for the UKCM.

Tony....THANK YOU!!! once again for taking up your con time to help out so many of us.

You better hold your horses until Tony agrees or confirms he is able to do it this year - this whole thread is from last D*Con.

If he can't then we can just hope the barcode system works smoothly again.
