The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'm friends with the folks that did the score for it Steve so I too have been following it for a while. I haven't seen the finished film yet, but it looks like lots of fun. Did you see it on its single theatrial release day in the UK?

Luckily us fans made enough noise about it that the asshole distributor (Revolver) permitted a few cinemas to show it for as long as they wanted and I saw it at one such place, the Prince Charles Cinema off Leicester Square in London. :)

That's the only film I've been to where the whole audience booed when the distro's logo appeared during the opening titles. :D

My friend Mark Hennessy-Barrett helped with the CGI, including the Zeppelin battle explosions. 8)

Here's his current showreel:

I also bought the blu ray direct from the Iron Sky web site (so it doesn't have the Revolver logo on it) and the slip case is all in Finnish. 8)

Yeah i hope he says something when he sees i walk into his panel. I've heard people say some people at panels will let you come up and sign stuff. My buddy said rob kirkman. From walking dead was really cool and let him come up and take pics and signed a bunch of stuff for him. He said he was really cool. Maybee bill paxton will do the same.

Might be an idea for you to go as a group and speak to the people running the panel before/as it starts, to ask if you can speak to Bill at the end.

Randy Pitchford of Gearbox Software (A:CM) just Tweeted this:

Looks like I am going to NY Comic-Con for Aliens: Colonial Marines. We have a panel, too!

So maybe a few Marines could make the panel look authentic? 8)

As spotted by Sean Maio, Lance posted on Facebook that he'll be at NYCC too! :)

It'd be great to get pics of Lance and Bill together. 8)
