I think Vito aka Callum should be up for this being injured in the line of duty at D*Con, plus others from past cons (need verifying), so do we have one? |

The gimpy one hung tough though, and fended off Many a cherry late into Monday night! His valor should be well noted. Also a serious award of some kind should be tossed to Abe, for duress while wearing Latex and having to brave Atlanta's hospital system. Above and beyond the call! |

Should Craig Barrett (Prophet) also be up for one as well, or did that not happen in uniform? |

He was limping around and I knew it was bad when Aaron and I helped him up to the room. Did not find till Monday how bad it really was. Definitely meets the requirements! Thanks! Greg |

Craig's injury isn't what it sounds like! He got his hand caught in a door during the UKCM Colony Sweep! |

He was out smoking on the patio of the Hyatt bar, leaning against the door. It opened, closed, caught his finger, and cut it enough to require 6 stitches and a cab ride to the ER because no one was sober enough to drive. |

Laws and regulations, I'm sure are different in Canada and the UK... But here in the United States, if you're caught wearing an actual military service medal/badge/ribbon that you were not awarded, you can be arrested by (even) civilian law enforcement. It's quite serious. Being so, I can't support or recommend that anyone wear an actual award that they don't rate. |

Aaron I think you missed the point, these ARE NOT actual MILITARY Service awards, they are FAN-DOM awards. Scouting have ribbons as well as badges around the world and I doubt they are arrested when wearing them. Rex, etc you ever been arrested wearing your`s? So fear not NO ONE is PRETENDING to be wearing ACTUAL MILITARY AWARDS of the US Military or any other ACTUAL MILITARY, these are ALIENS inspired COLONIAL MARINES Awards. |

TV, Are you assuring me it's a completely fictional award? I can't "miss a point" if no one has even made it. As a scout, I earned my ribbons as well as badges. I don't understand what you're getting at. |

Post subject: | Re: WOUNDED IN ACTION award? |
It IS fictional, Last I looked there wasn`t any Actual Military Medals/Ribbons for Colonial Sweeps, Dragon Con etc all other drops ![]() Now as for the Scout comment (me too mate) and that was just to make the point they wear ribbons and DON`T get stopped for wearing ribbons on the off chance they are Actual Military. The Key part here Aaron is the Actual Military to Fictional Military ![]() |
