So lame... Peeps like me who are you know... In the military and therefore cannot fully "firm up" to dates even in the future. I want to go... I should be CONUS then... leave shouldn't be a problem, but nothing would be guaranteed until say 4-5 months out. And I hear this stuff gets *crazy.* Is the "booking frenzy" true? |

I would imagine the Hilton to be the last of the big three to sellout because of their "first night non refundable deposit" policy (which... sucks). I'm actually entertaining the idea of booking a cheaper room off site (hopefully no more than) a couple of blocks away. The room rental cost is becoming unreal. Kevin |

motel 6 kev . 1 block from the hilton , also someone on the wolfpack sadi the hyat place right by max lagers is booking and no fees or charges now . |

Well that confirms its truth but I figured just as much. Anyways... Something to look into... I should be CONUS in early Fall. And with a new unit I'll have to find a way to sweet talk them into leave. So I'd probably be able to know about 2-3 months if I have confirmed leave. They usually say yes, but if they say no, I'm holding hotel/airline tickets and can't go. That sort of thing. |

Rooms always open up just before the con. Just keep checking dragon cons website. And or book the Hyatt place or the motel 6 on courtland |

try the westin. few blocks away but cheap. and the staff is awesome! and the revolving door is drunk proof. trust me! i tested it 2 years ago! |
