The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Found the e-mail address for Paul Cashman who I recall speaking with in the D*Con group in late 2008 about the fan table plus the issues from the 2008 con.

99.9% now.....but I'm pretty sure we're good to go :)

Yeah, a peg board would be a damn nice idea.

I know all about those... I'll meet you at the secret wink-wink.

Seeing as (as far as I know) there won't be an auction at Max Lager's this year, it should allow us the time to hold it there?
Well...... I sort of preferred doing it after the sweep like the two previous years.... but I can be flexible if the popular voice calls for it. Spat motioned it... any seconds?

The drawing that Chris is referring to is bilingual... the uniform plates. Pretty cool, IMHO.

For sure... I can post the schedule on a thread like I did last year, but who the hell's gonna print it out and bring it to the con (like I did)?

Well, to me the grid wall is more "sci-fi "ish"....The peg board would remind me of my garage

Besides, Im thinking about using the grid elsewhere also...

Last year Nancy and I with some help put together the banner that was carried in the parade.
Sadly it got lost at the end of the con.
If someone wants to take up the design end of things, I can get a new one printed up.
I'm thinking on vinyl this year as the paper banner really doesn't hold up too well.
As well as being a parade banner it would make a good table banner.
If not, I think I still have the art work from last years banner and can just tweak it a little and reprint it.

Alien from Aliens please! ;)

I never got to see the banner in person but other than it being an AvP Xeno, it looked sweet in photos.

Hell, it's the reason I'm here.

Seriously, though, I really do like the idea of a recruitment poster, especially the Dom as DI concept.

I put this together a few years ago. I used to have it as an 8x10 in a stand up sign holder for the table- but it went for a walk a couple of years back... I think a certain cpl might still have it.

However I'd like to see a full sized poster too. 8)

Personally, I like the second one better, just because of the amount of exposure on your hand.

Rex... no blame here.
It simply got lost.
Its not like it was perfect.
Like I said, I want to do another one on vinyl, something more permanent.
