Just let Jan Price know that there will be a member not in costume (as it is one of the requirements of being in the parade) who wishes to be "off to the side" slightly for the purpose of keeping a watchful eye etc. (Just explain the whole thing to her- she'll understand and is pretty easy going).

I had a similar situation last year with someone who was going to be a photographer for us, and wished to be on the street with the parade, but not in costume and (I believe) without a ribbon.

In that situation Jan said that she would inform parade security (yes they have that :wink: ) that there would be this "non-costumed" member with us.

I'm sure I already signed up for this parade at least once before somewhere, but I added my name to the list once again just to make sure I don't get cut for some reason.

If all goes according to plan, I will also have a non-parade participating companion, my wife, who I'd like to take pics and document the con & parade for me. She plans to be in USCM costume and should have a pass, but will she need an additional ID or pass while moving around taking pics during the parade? This is our 1st con, so any specific info would be most appreciated. Thanks! :D

Let's just add her to the parade participant list. She doesn't have to march with us, but we'll get her a ribbon nonetheless. She'll be in USCM Costume, as a "videographer", it'll work out fine. :mrgreen: :delta:
