The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Was flipping around the TV on saturday night and landed on a program detailing what happened within the twin towers on Spetember 11.

And there, leading a group of people around one of the towers was William Hope.

Program was called: Within the twin towers. It's probably an older program as they have a tendency to repeat these types of shows around tghis time of year.

A computer game i played called X3: Reunion (its basically an updated ELITE free universe game with side missions format)

The Hero (you the player) is voiced by William Hope. He playes a character called Ion Battler.

I have no footage of the speaking bits but here is some footage of the game itself.

I spotted them in the iPhone/Ipod Touch game 'Rogue Planet' which I just got hold of (and thoroughly recommend by the way!)

Sigourney Weaver will be making a return to host Saturday Night Live this Saturday, January 16th - after a twenty four year hiatus from the show. Siggy first appeared on SNL in 1986, in an appearance which coincided with the original theatrical release of "Aliens":

I liked the episode. Thankfully they didn't have some of their more untalented cast members too much in the limelight (Kristen Wiig I'm talking to you) and let the Sigourney have some really good skits.

I for one cannot wait for "James Cameron's Laser Cats 5".

This one goes by pretty quickly, but...

There's an advert in the UK now for Actimel; it features a couple going out in the back garden in the snow and having a barbecue, presumably because they feel so healthy or something.

I think the husband (silver hair) is Jay Benedict. :)

Can anyone confirm or deny?

So for those who might find this obscure- "Morse" was one of the inmates in Alien3 (the one who survives at the end and gets taken away by the WY commandos... giving them a defiant F.U. ).

Image

Morse was played by Danny Webb.

So I'm trying to find and old music video by an 80s band called "Yes"- "Owner of a Lonely Heart"...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWvzZCZF1gw

And I think- Say... that guy kinda looks like the guy who played Morse!

I check out the Wiki page on Danny Webb- turns out I was right!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Webb_(actor)

Just thought I'd share.

Playing the free remake of the famous ELITE space combat trading game called Oolite. If you get shot down/ crash/generally die, you get Hudsons famous Game over speech...

Oolite homepage: http://www.oolite.org/ Totally free game. Nice!

That is all!

I just spent the last few months larking about with Freelancer and really enjoyed it, so I might give this one a go.

Graphics look a bit naff, though...
