The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I assume this has been listed dozens of times, but right now I just bought, and am watching again, "near dark". Good ol 80s vampire movie starring Henriksen, Goldstein, and Paxton. 3 superstars in one flick: awesome.

I like the Easter Eggs in Near Dark. when Caleb passes by the theatre it says "Aliens" on the marquee

And at one point there's a shot of a billboard that reads Bill + Louise

Was very surpised to see Ricco Ross turning up in an old episode of Dr Who, as the rapping ring master in "The Greatest Show in the Galaxy" from the Sylvester McCoy era.

Watched "Death Wish 3" the other night. Rico Ross is credited as one of the gang members.

Yes, he's the one who chases Charles Bronson through an apartment complex with an Uzi, only to get thrown off the roof by him.

Interestingly, his name in the script was "Cuban", though clearly he isn't from Cuba (also interestingly, Alex Winter of Bill and Ted fame was also in the gang and his character was meant to be puerto rican?????? :o )

I recall seeing Ricco Ross on an episode of Love Connection as well. I was surprised that I recognized him.

Just saw on Twitter this morning that Mark Rolston wants to petition the CW to bring back his character in one episode of Supernatural's final season.

Given how sorely underused he was in those two episodes, I'd get behind this if we throw in the clause "must appear for more than five minutes." I was really disappointed when I sat down to watch his appearances a few months ago.

Not sure this fits the thread, but I thought some of you would be interested.

Daniel Nash (Spunkmeyer) has role at the end of the first season (and the beginning of the second season) of The Expanse. Fun to see him given a good role.

Just saw Mark Rolsten as Fleet Admiral Ernest King in the movie "Midway".
Crazy to see this squad get 'old', but cool when their rolls become more 'distinguished' with age! Seems like it was yesterday he was just a grunt, now he is running the entire navy in the pacific as Chief of Naval Operations in WW2.

(pretty small roll though. oh well)

Al Mathews has a decent role in this fun caper starring Burt Reynolds and the delectable Lesley-Anne Down.

His scenes start at 1:02:10
