I'm on the fence with the trailer... the daylight kinda ruins it for me. All of the Future War sequences took place at night (to get all picky- Reese said "you stay down by day... yada yada yada"  ). I guess I'll hold off judgement until I see the film.

The 600 series had rubber skin, unless they decided to change that...which would be o.k. I suppose. This could be an even earlier version, and it does look like the Terminators that you saw in the lobby at the T3 experience in Orlando. Maybe it's a variation? My main problem is that the director of this film is the one who did the Charlies Angels movies. But that outcome could have been in part due to the studio and other "interested parties" having their mits in the stew. And the PG 13 rating doesn't really mean much, if we will mainly be seeing robots running around and very few graphic death scenes, it can still be worth seeing. |

Yeah, that's why I thought it's probably an earlier model. And that comment that sarge quoted from Reese, that you have to stay down during the day, why is that? If they use infrared, wouldn't that be largely useless during the day? But if they can use infrared all the time, then wouldn't staying hidden during the day be pointless? |

It doesn't show much, but it doesn't take much Terminator stuff to get me excited. 
I've been watching the blog since it started, and it says: "We've started shooting the T-600 - the bigger, grimier, nastier version that preceded the T-800." So that pic above could be a T-600 (without the skin added). We know that T-800s fought without skin on, so T-600s would do as well. |
