The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Tom, I'm loving the BSG sidearm. Is it solid resin, or are there movable parts? (ie trigger).

Cripes. I've been wanting one of those BSG blasters but have had a hell of a time finding one.

*sighs*

DD, nice one like that one? Or a resin one do?
If resin is okay, New Moon Props has them for reasonable.

Ask me that in PM (if you don't mind) while I go check to see if I have any left. The Warner Bros. incident sort of put a kink in my passion to make these anymore.

BTW, I just realized that there are additional images of these on a much older version of my site.

For anyone that would like to view the original art behind these, I would strongly suggest you check out the 'Illuminated Technicals' link on that page. It is located near the lower right.

That's a great compliment. Thanks. This one is almost entirely made of resin. :D Just checked out the newmoonprops site earlier. Wow!! Quite the pin-holes...

DD, for the best Season 1 BSG Blaster, you must seek Matsucorp...

There is none other worthy of the title: Propweapons Master

I've e-mailed him recently (we had some dialogue going back and forth about PR's and shoulder lamps as well) but I've yet to hear back from him. I understand he has e-mail problems as well from time-to-time so I don't know if that's the case here... and I don't want to irriate him. :)

Regardless, I want a Season 1 BSG blaster. I don't like Season 2 / 3 ones at all.

Yeah, the Season 1 blasters are more dramatic looking. The others are cheaper, holsters are available for only about $40- but, the Season Ones are sooo cool lookin'!

All current purchases have been posted save for the '05 concept blaster. I had to acquire a special box for that one. Office Depot, in my area, does not carry something this size. That one will be posted first thing tomorrow.

Got the BBC Blaster! It is really cool! A very, very nice prop. Even better looking than the pics, it's well balanced, nicely constructed, looks like an original!!

All current purchases have been posted. Looks like I'll have to work up some more ebay mojo for the rest of the batch.
