The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

There have been a number of threads on this film. Our man Spat was directly involved with the making of it. See the topics below :)

Cheers

What's interesting is there's a link to ABC on the Trenches site, but there's NO mention about it at all on ABC's site.

Does anyone know how this is going to be presented? DVD release, or a movie of the week kind of thing or what?

The teaser trailer flat out rocks. I wasn't as pumped up about it seeing the behind the scenes stills as I was after seeing the trailer and how it all comes togeather. Looks like it will be fun.

Hey, thanks! My team and I put a lot of work into making the guns, costumes, props and FX make-up look as good as possible for the little budget we had.

As far as distrubution, no one has given me any final, official details, except to say that it will be out in October.

So there you go!

And don't forget that Scott (Falken) also worked on Trenches making, and playing the Aliens.

Hey there
Thanks for the mention Spat :)
Lets not forget the talents of Pete Mander who actually sculpted and created the creatures as well.
I was lucky enough to grab one of the posters and a metal dog tag at Dcon.
As well as having one of the original suits.

Yeah, I saw those floating around at Dcon and was so tired when I left (I was sick the night before) that I forgot to get back to the table and say hello to them and get some of thier swag!

The movie looks good though, and I think Spat did a kick ass job on it.

Yes, because it was all me! All my work, with no help from anyone!

As much as my ego does love to take credit for all that stuff, I did have a complete crew of like 15 people working for me on Trenches, both making the items before we started filming, and working on set keeping the props, costumes, weapons and make-up working during filming.

I get complaints sometimes that it seems like I take all the credit as if I made everything myself, and I just wanted to clear up that really quickly so I don't get any more hate mail!

It was the SpatCave Crew that did that kick ass job! I just supervised, and helped them out a little as needed.
