I'll be there but I'm working as technical production manager for the theatre areas.

I hope I can get to see some Legacy folks in the evening though so PM me if you're going and we'll swap contact details etc.

I just wanted to say what a great day I had on Saturday at Celebration Europe.

I went down with a mate and his two young kids, and they had an amazing time - wish there had been stuff around like this when I was a kid! (Oh, ok, I am still a kid, wee bit)

It was good to bump in to Malika, working hard as usual; Alex form this board and UKG; Geordie – what a brilliant costume, mate, please post a pic! Good to see Jon (Quothcorvous) again and even got a glimpse of Harry working hard as usual, too, at the Star Wars 'Battle of The Bands' (kid you not), seen momentarily emerging from behind the stage curtain. Darth Elvis was quite funny but I don't think he's Vegas material yet!

And thanks to Andy (saintadjg), good to see you mate, you will be sorely missed at FACTS later in the year, and you really made the kids day with those storm trooper cards.

Wish I couldv'e hung around after for longer, but anyhow, just wanted to post a big thanks to all those involved who made it a great and memorable day out for us punters.

A

Woah hey, never guessed CE was brought up here as well! Makes me kinda late to bring it up...

As some of you know, I was also there the whole weekend, working my butt off to provide the audience with life-size sets and vehicles.

Our selection of pictures from the event, from preparations, build up, event, break down and home-coming are all here:

That was YOU guys?!

I was there too working in the Celebrity Theatre. I remember seeing you but I didn't put the face and the name together. You guys did some great work, your pieces really added a lot to the show.

Now how about a full size Aliens APC some time?! ;)

Tempting, but getting an aircraft towing vehicle or at the very least the 4 giant wheels for that will be a bit... difficult if not expensive.

However: we have been thinking about doing a full-size powerloader. That's not too difficult too make as long as it's just a static model where people can climb into. Depending on how succesful the alien lair and accompanying alien warrior will be... who knows?

Main problem: too little money and just too many ideas of stuff we wanna make.

You know, a power loader would be pretty cool! 1/4" plywood construction mounted to a permanent base... PVC pipe for the rollcage... It would be do-able. You'd just need someplace to store it in the off season. :)

And if someone gets the Hot Toys version, you have the perfect reference material for doing a 1:6 to 1:1 scale conversion.

I was there Thurs to Monday! Hey Broskopf, I probably talked to you on Thursday about some of your props- we were having a sneak nosey round before we got kicked out and had to go to the pub!

PVB- I aint too far away from you... somewhat suprised to see a mention of the Kent County Show on here!! I'm about 5 mins from Detling.

ADC- was a suprise to bump into you, considering how busy it was!

TTFN

I met so many new people... that I wouldn't have a clue if you had. :P

Oh, and we dó have a storage place. We always build our stuff so we can easily break it down and store it as compact as possible. But there's a few things in line before we would even have time to start thinking on how to build a powerloader.
