This is a video I edited togeather back in 2002.

One of the camera "men" was a total d!ps#!^ and thought it would be cool to add some sort of machine gun recoild effect to the video.

The dude watched WAY too much MTV I guess.

And FYI, I'm the guy in Black tac gear with the SG-1 patch on his shoulder. :)

I'm also the guy dropping dead after getting shot by the M249 wielding "dead" guy at the end of the video. :)

That's all kinds of awesome bro. Makes me wish it wasn't so damn hard to get airsoft stuff here in Canada. Always did want to get into airsofting.

Damn, here I was hoping for it to be shot like "heat"!! ;) Still, an interesting and entertaining watch.

I have one questions for you. WHERE is that paintball/airsoft field, and why haven't you shared something THAT cool with the legacy boards before? And if you have, well, I forgive you. ;)

I ask because it's very cool, and I'd love to find out what it's all about.

Finally got a chance to sit and watch it - that is ALL kinds of awesome.

Is that like a small run down town sectioned off for airsoft and paintball?
Where is this magical place?

Really great teamwork and realism.
I didnt see or hear anyone argue they weren't really dead.

That is just one of the many themed fields located at Challenge Park Xtreme in Joliet, IL.

It's a MULTI-MILLION dollar facility funded in no small part by Brass Eagle I believe.

There are several themed fields.

The city (who's name escapes me at the moment...)

There's a "Wastelands" field that's modeled on a bombed out city, either WWII or Futuristic depending on your point of view.

There's a "Jungle of Doom" field with a Mayan/Aztek style temple in the center and big stone heads at each starting point.

There's a Wild West stockaid fort themed field and one Mad Max influenced field with 30-40 cars parked on it.

Our Minnesota club was the first airsoft group to be invited there, that first weekend in 2002 and it was a real blast. It was also the fighting premier of my airsoft Pulse Rifle, which I used almost exclusively that whole weekend, except for the "Heat" game where we "Law Enforcement types" were restricted to using gas guns only.

Man I miss skirmishing. :(
