I actually played "Doug Mackenzie" in a grade 6 school play!

Man I used to kill myself laughing watching those two! I bought "Strange Brew" on dvd a couple of years ago (Highest grossing movie of 1983... Yeah riiiiiiiiight ).

I actually did listen to the backwards part- but partly by fluke.

I used to have a wonky tape recorder that if one side of a cassette had nothing recorded on it- you could faintly hear the other side being played backwards.

So I recorded the backwards part and played it, umm backwards... forwards... oh never mind.

Nothing special really- Has Bob saying "OK this is the backwards part!" Doug saying "Take off!" a lot- and Bob yelling "No! How's it going eh?!"

Yeah, I did in fact hear it as well. My friend (and we're talking a looong time ago) had the LP and my mom's turntable had a "neutral" setting, so we were able to spin the record backwards. Oh, the ends we all went to hear that secret message, huh?
