OK, this is odd. I got a bio-hazzard suit this weekend from a fed buddy of mine. He deals with all of the mystery powder in the mail. So, I went on ebay and searched for a gas mask and it came up with a bunch of gay/fetish gear.
Has anyone bought a gas mask? What is the most "tactical" looking mask. AKA, Terminator 2, not crawlspace monkey from pulp fiction.

I like the Scott M95 NBC Gas Mask the most.

Have you tried searching with the word respirator?

The hits are usually British surplus though.

Of course I'm a little partial to the Canadian C3 M69 mask:

Kinda pricey though. This one is cheaper (about a third the price) and is similar in style to the one you like.

I buy from Botac Tactical regularly. They're typically the cheapest out there for tactical gear.

For whatever reason I tend to like the vintage military ones, like from the 70's or older.

Of course I may be a little bias because I thought the gravediggers in the movie "Phantasm" looked super creepy wearing them. ;)

I have an Israile (sp?) gas mask I used to use while paint/sanding, etc. It looks similar to the ones first listed except the filter is right in the front.
I think it was issued around the time of Desert Storm.

Dude! I so wanted to do a biohazzard costume. I wanted one of those cool "outbreak" ones. You gotta get a mask that shows as much of your face as possible. With Antrax, SARS, bird flu and wet nile floating around... it's like required.... ;)

#3 Enough pockets for money, smokes, camera, ect
