Hey Guys Figured I'd post this before I leave and then sort it out once I get back. I access all my mails (hotmail, yahoo, cm.net etc) through Outlook Express. Of course my Yahoo spam/bulk folder I need to empty once in a while via the website. So I log into the website and empty the folder of all 700 e-mails. Next thing I know I'm getting server errors through Outlook and I am unable to receive my Yahoo mails into Outlook. It keeps asking for my username and password (which are correct) repeatedly. If I hit cancel instead of OK I get this error message: There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'Yahoo', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user/password', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92 I've gone through the Yahoo instructions and attempted to re-set up the account but nothing. Also forums and FAQ's online are not really helping as most are in another language. Anyone have any ideas? The hotmail accounts create their own inbox in Outlook but the colonialmarines.net address is retrieved into the same inbox as the Yahoo. Just no issue until I logged into the Yahoo account through the website. I'll check back in 3 weeks when I return, any ideas please do let me know. Thanks guys and gals ![]() |

You might check to see if the POP3 access disabled itself when you logged in via the web browser. Here is a tutorial on enabling it. help.yahoo.com/us/tutoria...cess4.html |

Tony here (@ Pete's) I logged in and found the POP3 button not selected so I'm guessing your theory was right. I'll have to wait to check once I return home. But thank you, really appreciate it ![]() |
