Must admit, when this lockdown started I wasn't bothered. I was still working more or less as normal and had a lot of stuff on at home to keep me busy.

Now however, I'm about fed up of not being able to go out and socialise. I'm also not able to relax at home properly as I was part way through decorating when the lockdown came in, and now struggling to get hold of new furniture I need for the living room (I am currently without a settee, so have nowhere comfortable to sit).

Relatively simple things we took for granted only a few weeks ago, like being able to pop to the shops, are now either impossible, or extremely awkward.

What I wouldn't give just to be able to go out for a meal, see a film at the cinema or watch a band play at my local pub right now :(

yep I feel the same. Wasn't too bad at the start as I've continued to work throughout but now I've totally had enough. My kids are climbing up the walls and there's not much I can do about it apart from the odd walk. I have a week off work next week and I have no idea how to fill it other than chores. Quite like the idea of driving out to the peaks for a walk but i'm not fully sure if that's ok. Think it is.

I too would like to go and have a pub lunch or something similar.

Hope you get your sofa situation sorted.

cheers

This situation will not be forgotten for a couple of generations. Whatever was planned with all the lock down malarkey is slowly backfiring.

Obviously I've not been able to go to any of the events I normally would either but I'm still working full time so at least I don't have that worry. Oddly the most annoying part of the lockdown for me has been trying to keep my private website updated on a regular basis. I'm writing as much as normally would but getting the stuff proof read and then corrected is impossible when I can't hand the documents to the friend that does the reading.
As long as that remains the worst that happens to me though I should come out of this fine.

I honestly think it will be mostly forgotten within a few weeks of lockdown restrictions being lifted.
Given that no-one was supposed to be out except the key workers, I saw an exceptionally high volume of people out and none of them were working. Traffic was busy as ever, to the point where you'd think it was the bank holiday beach rush. If you hadn't read the news, you'd never have known!

The only problem is, when will the lockdown be lifted?

I know the Govt are starting to ease the restrictions, but the amount of people flouting the social distancing guidelines, if that leads to a second wave then things are going to go back again.

Simple - When people stop behaving like self-entitled asshats and spreading the infection with their activities...

What time do people go to sleep? I cant fall asleep until 4am at the earliest. Even if I randomly sleep a little earlier I still sleep until 11 or 12. How the hell do I get a normal sleep schedule and when do normal people go to bed. Do you read? take nyquil? This quarantine really messed me up.

Exact same thing here.
For thirty years, my profession has been building office spaces.
Skyscrapers - Downtown Chicago. Work was gangbusters... until the virus hit.
Not too many are gathering in office buildings right now.
In fact there are photos circulating of coyotes running down Michigan Avenue.
(Usually one of the busiest streets in the world)

Hour by hour... day by day, my sleep schedule has gradually rotated a full 180.
4am to 11 or 12. Was spending late nights watching movies and building an Etsy store... now its gathering this build together.

Well I'm still working, but I would recommend going to bed about midnight and try getting up around 8-9am.

Try sleeping tablets and setting an alarm.
