The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I always knew I was, but this quiz confirmed it. ;) :P

Intelligence Test

I scored 19 (and would have scored 20 if I had the correct form of a word).

Have fun grunts! ;)

I had to get help on No.5 since that's not something I'm remotely interested in but after that I did spot two of the others which I perhaphs wouldn't have got otherwise.

I got 9 after I gave up. I might have 10 had I guessed the 1 word i was missing.

In any case, If any of you are wondering what the answers were, I found the answer sheet here:

Is this a truly acceptable method of determining genius?

Why? Wadya get? ;)

The test explains at the bottom-

Quote:
Quote:Believe it or not, this type of test can be a good estimate of intelligence (if you excuse the cultural bias). People who did well on this type of test are likely those who are gifted with verbal ability and linguistic pattern recognition. This sort of assessment would discriminate against those with non-linguistic pattern recognition (like solving jigsaw puzzles) and spatial intelligence (like the ability to use a map or see hidden figures in a drawing).

Whatever that means. ;)

Well, did this kind of test a few years ago and it took me a while to get them all.
This time I got to 12 before I had to get offline.
I'm happy with that!!
