Hi Folks
We am starting right from the beginning. Just ordered some soft kit and I am about to place my order for armour and helmets. Which I am going to build and paint myself. That will be two sets as both my wife and I have signed up to come bug hunting with you all.
I expect to look at many of the topics here especially when it comes to painting and building. Our background is in Re-enacting having been into both Medieval and Napoleonic for nearly 25 years. We have done some cosplay but we were blown away by meeting you at Bournemouth last year. We were there to meet the actors from Aliens as it is one of our all time favourites. (Directors cut of course)
Spoke to Simon on UKCM facebook site and he recommended I join here. So I thought I would introduce us to you.

Hi all,
I'm a veteran Alien/Aliens fan. My folks went to see the first one back in 1979 and my mum imparted to me her love of the oeuvre. We both know all the lines. Now my partner and I do the same. We work a quote into every possible situation :) Our best yet was "we're on an express elevator to hell... goin' down!" while on the Smiler at Alton Towers this April :D
I have been hanging around this forum for a while looking for a building guide for the M-56 and various other items. Started on my items (see other thread). Linked up to the Facebook page and the messenger bot advised me to join up. So here I am.

hi all i recently started a part scratch build helmut and ordered a motion tracker from nickatron props. and i discovered how cool this group is . so far so good .i will give updates as i progress with the builds. on i side note are there any individual marines in the the CT NY NJ tri state areas.
