https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oorah_(Marines) I've been curious if we, as a seperate division of the armed forces, have our own battle cry? I think it'd be lame to merely copy and paste from the traditional marine battle cry. If we have none, keeping with the established pattern set by the Army, and Air Force "Hooah!", the Navy, "Hooyah!" or the Marines, "oorah!" what should ours be?

If you're referring to the lines "Every meal's a banquet. Every paycheck a fortune. Every formation a parade." That's more of a slogan or motto like the Army's "Be all that you can be." The Marine's The few, the proud." The Air Force's "Aim high." or the Navy's "Honor, Courage, Commitment." I'm asking what our battle cry is? Following the set pattern, it'd only consist of one single word, if even a word.

88reaper88, I read your comment, as well as watched that scene repeatedly. Apone did growl in it, but it's hard to determine that as an official war cry, or simply his own sigh/ growl. I guess it could work, but I read somewhere that one possible source for the Marine's oorah could've been the sound of a submarine claxton. If that's true, I wonder if, likewise, it might make more sense to refer to the sound of any of our own alarm type equipment for our own war cry? Just a thought.

I have a friend who was born in New Zealand, and spent his childhood there until his parents moved here. The same friend, btw, that helped me acquire my pulse rifle. We were at a club when he met, what he referred to as an "Aussie". A guy visiting from Australia. Outside, after the club, while everyone was drunk, the Australian guy challenged him to haka. That's the first time I had ever seen, let alone, heard of it up to that point.
