The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Beginner SciFi modeler and prop builder looking for some direction: Sulaco model, what's the difference in model producers? And if anyone can point me in the right direction for Starship Troopers Roger Young model.

I'm not aware of too many Sulaco models. The easiest to get is the old Halcyon kit. There were two larger versions, but I don't think they are made any more. There is also the paper model, but I can't remember who makes it.

Wasn't it Jan Rükr? Though when I go to his site, it tells me java is broken so I can't tell if the links work or not.

most other Marine vehicles are available now, but not the Sulaco in kit form, the only ones you will find are the older ones

All of the Halcyon kits were reboxed under a different manufacturer a couple of years ago, they're easier (and cheaper) to find on eBay etc
