Post subject:  Predator 3 rumours... Stallone?
Heard from a few places online that Predator 3 is going into preproduction soon, and will be starring Sylvester Stallone?

Sounds extremely unlikely, but has anyone heard anything about the project?

( There's also some dude trying to sell Predator masks "Made by a guy working on P3" on the PlanetAvP forums... :| Here. )

This is rumour control, here are the facts....

Well, I haven't hard anything lately about a possible P3.

Theres always been plans for one in the pipeline, but I think its safe to say Sly won't be in it if it ever materalises.

According to an interview with Stallone, he will be switching to directing and producing full time after Rambo 4 (which he is currently working now Rocky Balboa has been released).

Other rumours I heard concerning P3 was a possible remake or "re-imagining" (I hate that phrase) of the original.

Casting rumour for this remake was that a 'star' from the world of wrestling would take Arnie's role. Interesting side note to this; when this rumour was posted on the Hunters Lair, a new member posted something like "Oh man, a wrestler in a Predator movie? Totally bad idea". I had to post a reply, two simple words; JESSE VENTURA. Nuff said.

Well, thats the latest I have heard regarding Predator 3.

I'd heard the John Cena rumours too, ages ago - Either as a re-imagining, or as Dutch's brother.
