The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I lucked out on one of those inexpensive Japanese squirt guns ("Fullcock" brand!) so I decided to mod it up with lights and metal replacement bits. Once that was done I decided to make a little display out of a shelf/shadow box from Goodwill and a bunch of Tom Southwell graphics from the original film. I'd been holding on to an old Chinese newspaper so some bits from that rounded it out.

Using two pieces of silver foil from some rolls of hard candy (and a YouTube video) I folded the origami unicorn as a finish touch. Hope you like it!

Thanks guys!

Don't buy the gun on eBay, they are way overpriced! I got mine from a Japanese website for about $20. The rest was a few bucks for the lights and paint. The shelf was just a dollar.

I used a lot of 2-part putty and steel sewing machine parts from my work to add weight. I'll post a pic of the interior soon.

I can't find them for less than $50 these days. Nice display!

Awesome! I've got 2 headed from Japan also.

Not sure if I'm going to mod one or not.
