I got a call from Dom B this evening as he was about to head out on his Christmas excursions....got me thinking.
Just want to say to everyone....

My wife and I are spending Christmas at home on our own for the first time ever so I'm really looking forward to it.

Tony, in response to your question about boxing day.
My grandmother once told me it had something to do with the boxer rebellion.
My mom always said it was the day that Santa came back and boxed up your gifts if you were bad.

Wikpedia has it close....the servants would carry the left overs from Christmas home to their families the day after Christmas in the boxes. so all around the streets you would see people carrying the boxes - hence Boxing Day.

Thats what I was always told and as I'm British it is without contestation
