The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I assume it's in Australia based on YouTube videos. It's a fairly life-like M1911 toy pistol with removable magazine which has rounds that can be loaded into it and then shot.

I don't know if it's a Pound Lane item...or if there are Pound Land or similar in Australia, but if you've seen this, could you maybe help me out?

Is it even legal to import one of these to the U.S.?

1:1 scale replica of an M1911 Colt 45.
Featuring a 5 round removable magazine, spring loaded slide, and realistic magazine release button, this toy gun offers hours of fun and is perfect for costume play and dress ups.
Compatible with most pistol holsters, making it the perfect choice for any of your cosplay conventions.
Simply place 5 rubber bullets into the magazine, load the magazine into the gun, pull back the slide to chamber a round, and pull the trigger to release a rubber bullet. To remove the magazine, simply hold down the magazine release button, and the magazine will eject. Loading and cocking this gun is just as fun as shooting it.
Bullets will only travel 6-8 feet, meaning this toy is safe for children 6 and up.

I have one of those I got from China. It's actually pretty neat. Haven't painted it yet, it's on my to-do list.

Another member on here bought and painted one, there is a thread on it:

Mauser pistol?

They come as either the M1911 or the Mauser. Pretty cool!

Erik, if only that source still had them. :(

That Mauser looks pretty cool, but it looks like it's a little taller than it would be in real life?

I bought both the M1911 and Mauser. The M1911 is neat. The Mauser quality is not as good as the Airsoft springers that are available.
