The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

EXPECT TO WAIT. I'm sure your pulse rifles, motion trackers, knives and pistols will be under great, and long scrutiny. I would not also be suprized if some of your props were siezed.

airports on alert

And don't bring any liquids!!

Good luck fliers! Don't forget there is always shipping to your hotel!

Just ship stuff to the hotel. It's sooooo much easier.

Pete if you want to leave your replica weapons at home I'm sure some of us have a few spares we can lend you to use for the weekend.
Your travelling all this way and you can't be weaponless in hot LZ

Can we post here if we have any weapons we can bring easily enough?

Hey Fal, I have some gear and guns you can use for the show, no problem. Consider yourself heavily armed.;)

And I would think grenades would be ok, but you just never know. It might look just enough like a shotgun shell to get seized.

Last year I forgot about the grenade I hade in my helmet band and brought in in my carry on bag. Oops. Went right thru... The machine they use to scan is pretty sophisticated. I brought a dummy 50 cal round back from my vegas trip with metalalien.

First of all, metal detectors won't pick up non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, furthermore they don't have any explosive so they won't scan for particles... but best to stick 'em in your luggage and not your carry-on...

On the safer side, someone is DRIVING me stuff there for me. :)
