Slapped these costumes together last week for a family outing in DC.
As much as I would love to troop as a colonial marine each and every day, my friends and family like variety so we put together a little Futurama based trip in to Awesome-Con.
It was all done in a crazy rush and is a bit slap dash, but I personally had a great time. My wife was Leela, my buddy was Bender, I was Fry and my son was URL. It was my buddy's first costuming event. It normally isn't his thing, but when I told him I would make him Bender, he couldn't say "no". Now he knows what it is like to be a celebrity for a day!
