The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Since everyone else is on their way or already there, I figured I'd start a thread for all the rest of us left behind. Anyone have anything fun planned for their Dragon*Con away from Dragon*Con?

For me it's work training through Friday night, then my first three day weekend in about three years. Not sure what I'm going to do with it. Probably exciting things like laundry, getting my son down for naps and bed, and cleaning my house.

I'm taking a four day holiday, hoping to film some model shots for Last Flight of the Freya 7, finish my Flame Unit build (or at least make more progress) and enjoy some time with my family. I hear it's 100 degrees in Atlanta; count me out! No way man!

It's not THAT hot here. :p

I'll be working most of the weekend, and even if I weren't I couldn't make it..just had to spend all but $50 of my bank account on tires. ^^;
I look at it this way, 365 days to get my USCM armor fixed & try to build an Iron Grenadier suit.

I feel your pain, man. I just put four new shoes on mine. And it still didn't fix the shimmy at high speeds.

Did a little bit of drinking last night and realized that I have little to no alcohol tolerance anymore. I had a 24oz bottle of Stella Artois Cidre, got nice and fuzzy, watched some Supernatural and went to sleep. I'm a wild woman!

Well, there's a storm over on my side of town and it's looking to be headed towards downtown.. Suddenly I'm happy I'm not outdoors. ^^

Yet another day of wild antics on my part - I got a pedicure and manicure (my first in over two years) then took my folks out to dinner.
