The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

My brother recently gave me a hard time saying my my fixation on Aliens was a bit obsessive (duh!). But he did get me to thinking that my collection is pretty one sided. In my efforts to diversify, I started building props from two others of my top 5 flicks. Been working on the Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness Chainsaw (not yet ready to show) and I recently completed my Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!

What is ya'lls favorite non-aliens prop? Scratch built, store bought, whatever. Curious to see 'em and maybe get some ideas for what I didn't realize I couldn't live without

Anyways, this is my hand grenade

"O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy. And the Lord did grin."

Amongst my numerous Firefly replicas I have the screen used large coffee bean container from the galley in the TV series (on the left in this pic):

I'd have to say either the Ghostbusters proton pack or this...

Sorry...I just had to share a photo of my baby!

Thanks man! You should check out my build on the Replica Prop Forum if you haven't...it's been an incredibly challenging build, but it's coming along perfectly.

Wait until you see what I've got in store for the M56 build I'm planning...I can't wait to share it on here!

Mine would probably be either the Proton pack from Ghostbusters, the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future Part II or one of rover miniatures from Moon.

A lightsaber or DL-44 would be pretty cool too.

And I have a new title holder!

I just finished my Evil Dead2/Army of Darkness Chainsaw. When it was still very much a WIP, I took the left side panel of the housing with me to the Calgary Expo where I got Bruce Campbell's autograph.

I finally finished the saw after nearly 2 months and slapped it all together. I was going for more Army of Darkness (was a sturdier built saw) but my painting got a little out of control with the blood, so it has an ED2 vibe I think. In any case, this is my new favorite non-aliens toy.

As a Ringer it'd have to be my Anduril replica by United Cutlery. I love that sword.

Yes it is.
Graflex is original 3cell which i got off ebay almost 10years ago (seller didn't know anything about it and sold it with bunch or metal rubbish)

Droid caller top is real kobold (bottom which came with it was custom made battery holder for the camera - holding 2 batteries instead of 1). Ive cut it down to the original size.

Those two were an amazing find, never to be seen again on ebay (paid around 40£ for whole lot) :)

Nice! I would like to build a Luke ANH someday, but Graflexs have become very expensive. I'm guessing the Exactra strip is also real.

It's not really a prop, but:

It was signed by Meghan Agosta too, but it's kinda hard to read now:

Unfortunately, It's also starting to come apart:

My cat (who doubles as a Jones replica) is unimpressed:

Wow. How'd you get a relay torch?

My mother got to carry the torch by entering a Coca-Cola contest. She still had to pay for the torch afterwards, though. It was around $350 for the torch and $50 for the stand (which sucks, by the way; I always feel like the torch is going to fall over and it likes to scratch the bottom of the torch).

I just finished the base coats on this one - no idea why it took me this long to use a NERF Recon and a few accessories from other blasters to make a NERFVERA for my Jayne Cobb costume from Firefly.

It has just risen to the top of a pile of props/gear that I have :)
