Tell your young man "Good luck with your new career." And some other advice from an old NCO, "That old NCO, that he will meet at his first unit, will know a LOT more than you when you first start. Listen to him, he can make your life easy, or hard. Compromise is the key." |

Thanks and will do. He is very lucky in that the majority of the students (cadets?) are active military who have gone back to school getting their commissions. He has told me it is great learning from those who know. |

My congratulations to you and your son! There's always something to help him as a better leader down the road. Asking for extra material or advice in his off-time will get him noticed, and do him a huge amount of good in the future. |

Fuck yeah! Congrats! (He joined the wrong service though.) If he has any questions, I can give him my e-mail or my Army friends contact info as well. 2nd Lt Chew, USMC |
