The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Proud Dad here. Wanted to brag a bit.
Here are some shots of Alex the junior USCM marine many years ago and today.
Friday he contracted with the Army and in a few short years after he finished ROTC he will commission as a Second lieutenant.

Tell your young man "Good luck with your new career." And some other advice from an old NCO, "That old NCO, that he will meet at his first unit, will know a LOT more than you when you first start. Listen to him, he can make your life easy, or hard. Compromise is the key."

Thanks and will do. He is very lucky in that the majority of the students (cadets?) are active military who have gone back to school getting their commissions. He has told me it is great learning from those who know.

My congratulations to you and your son! There's always something to help him as a better leader down the road. Asking for extra material or advice in his off-time will get him noticed, and do him a huge amount of good in the future.

I remember that too. Steve Radler helped you out on the gear, if I remember correctly.

Good luck to your son Stephen!

I hate the passing of time. :(

Fuck yeah! Congrats! (He joined the wrong service though.)
If he has any questions, I can give him my e-mail or my Army friends contact info as well.
