The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Does anyone know where I can get a couple of small bits of clear plastic?

I need some acrylic, perspex or similar, about 6" x 1", no thicker than 3mm, one in red and one in grey/smoked.
Loads of places do large sheets, but no-one has anything small.

Do they not do samples? Might be too small for you but it's an option.

Those that I know do samples only offer 5mm thickness or more.

Probably not. I need something solid that I can cut grooves into.

Ah right.
Can you get clear A4 ring binders in the right colours?

If there's a signage company near you, ask for some Perspex off cuts and get some coloured window film.

Some ideas anyway :)

Cheers all.
Guess I'll have to go with a whole sheet. Most companies that offer the right depth "free" samples want £18 for feckin' postage!!

Went with a single sheet of each from Scapey's link - Cheapest around so far (blagged free shipping, heh heh).
All this just for a *tiny* bit of plastic to complete an only vaguely interesting and very basic PC mod, eh!!

Guess I'd better make my next mods absolutely stunning...!!
