So... I don't know what it is about this commercial, but I love it!

It's not the games, it's not the song (although it "is" the song in a way), it's not the juxtaposition of these two guys constantly trying to murder each other while singing this fun tune the whole time...

It's that these two guys are best of friends. And they're playing PS4 together, having a good old time.

They're happy, having the greatest of times together.

That's why they are smiling the whole time, not because they are enjoying killing each other, but that they are experiencing the game together.


Nearly brings a tear to my eye.

Agreed Kev, it is cool, and Sony have historically had a history of making pretty epic commercials in their time IMO.

My all-time favourite is the one they rolled out for the PS1, and I believe it was voted best games commercial a few years back too on IGN or similar:

I do miss the good 'ol days though of having buddies over to your place and playing on a single console, with the TV screen divided four ways.

But yeah, it's a good commercial and I am also looking forward to the PS4.
