The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Been watching this go viral for the past few hours, since it was originally posted to Facebook...
I reported it to Birmingham Police as soon as I saw it, hoovered up all info from the little twat that posted its Facebook page ( And going by comments he's since made, any doubt that the poster WAS the idiot that filmed it have been erased... Was stupid enough to actually go to the youtube version and demand it be removed! )

His Facebook page is now uber-private, the video is unavailable, but there are at least two or three mirrors now - And Reddit have gotten hold of it.

This guy's gonna have fun once that end of the Internet get hold of his number... And I think the cops are gonna have a pretty full inbox by morning!
Few other folk have apparently reported it since I did.

That guy needs a Colonial Marine 'special interrogation' session! Better yet, I hear Wey-U needs some live bodies for the labs!

Indeed. And I bet we'd struggle to find a man guilty of anything in a prison exercise yard too ;)

I was reading the comments on the video on his FB page....I was struggling to understand anything they were even saying.
Talking in code or just not very bright, but glad the information was pulled prior to it being taken down/hidden.

Keep us posted and thanks!!

Totally disgusted by the full thing. After watching it last night it really preyed on my mind, had a pretty shitty sleep and thinks thoughts might have been lingering there. I am planning on going out on Halloween for a couple of hours and the Spotter I will be taken cab well dish out any punishment that affects me, you would have to Be-Head him to stop once he starts..:).

Metro had it this morning... I knew when I saw it had made Reddit that it was gonna grow legs.
I never did hear back from the police, though. :( I guess by morning, they'd have had a bulging inbox, so I hope they are actually taking some sort of action!

Next stage will be the backlash - The "Why is a fuss being made about this when other people are happy-slapped all the time?" or "He was only pushed - Folk are assaulted far more viciously all the time!" or "Shut up because war!" etc etc.

Current reports on Failbook indicate he's handed himself into police....Probably before they knocked on his door, the little pustule.

Haha! I just got an email from the Birmingham police! :D

Quote:
Hi Steve,

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that a 20-year old man from Small Heath contacted Birmingham Police this afternoon (October 22nd) and has been questioned by Officers. He has now been bailed whilst the matter is further investigated.

Kind Regards,
Nicki.

Saw this on Facebook...it's a shame but it's coming to the point where doing something in costume requires a group of people for safety's sake...

Great news Scapey!

Sad, but it might be advisable to at least have a friend or two to watch your back when on your adventures. :(

When 501st trooping, we always had non-costumed spotters with us.

And at historical reenactments, guard mount isn't just for show. Aside from being historically correct, and prevents unexpected attacks from the "badguys" while the rest of the unit is sleeping or otherwise indisposed, we have thousands of dollars worth of highly-portable gear. You gotta have dedicated eyes open for scum and villainy.

One advantage the USCM has over Stormtroopers: peripheral vision!

A lot of times people choose not to pursue charges. They are content with warnings. Police cannot force victims to lay charges, for better or worse.
