I never met Chris in person, but I had a couple of memorable and loooong phone chats with him in the late 90's.  It gives me a big warm glow inside to know I helped in some small way to make his amazing talents known to a wider audience around the globe, when I wrote an article about EVA Models and his USCM 1/6 kit for a magazine back in the day. another here who was too late to the party to know you personally, but your effect on the hobby echoes to this day. I wish I had a chance to interact with the man to see the first hand the effect you had on people, which was obviously even more profound. |
