I never met Chris in person, but I had a couple of memorable and loooong phone chats with him in the late 90's. :D

It gives me a big warm glow inside to know I helped in some small way to make his amazing talents known to a wider audience around the globe, when I wrote an article about EVA Models and his USCM 1/6 kit for a magazine back in the day.

Chris, as you once said to me my friend, 'kudos!' and 'Happy Birthday!'

another here who was too late to the party to know you personally, but your effect on the hobby echoes to this day. I wish I had a chance to interact with the man to see the first hand the effect you had on people, which was obviously even more profound.
