which means he was in his 50's when he made Alien :shock:

I just double checked the IMDb and you're certainly right! Wowzers! What a career. He totally sold the ending of the Straight Story without saying a word and was great as the Hulk's "Spirit Guide" (as Joss put it) in The Avengers. He's someone I'd love to meet in person. I'd buy him dinner in a heartbeat.
