The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Well...

Lifting your leg up over the backside of the chair to sit down could have been "Riker's thing" as the actor Jonathan Frakes is quite tall, and it is (I guess) supposed to be impressive that he could swing his leg over top without much effort...

However getting up from the chair by doing that same move in reverse... yeah that's just silly.

well, Picard has two "Picard Maneuvers".. One with a ship, one with his person. So why can't Riker have two of his own? :)

Riker's awesomeness was so awesome it stopped him from sitting on chairs like a normal human being.

He was also a big fan of spinning the chair round and sitting on it backwards.

I noticed the chairs seem to have low backs to them...that combined with Frake's height probably makes it easy for him to do that. The reverse chair sit...well I don't get it. But either way that's pretty funny.

He's so space cowboy. I love it. Mounting up for action where ever he goes.

Maybe he's sitting the way we were all meant to sit...we've only forgotten how.

*cringes in pain, grabs groin, doubles over*
