The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

My copy has not arrived today and for those of you in the same boat here is something to pass the time. download Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo and the Mass Effect 3 demo. Play the Mass Effect 3 demo through first and then start the Kingdoms demo (make sure you are signed in to psn). You should get a message along the lines of letting EA collect game progress data. Say yes and you will unlock Mass Effect 3 armour. Its a bit like the dragon age armour in Mass Effect 2. If you then go on to finish the Kingdoms demo my brother tells me it unlocks a weapon. Unfortunately for me my kingdoms demo keeps freezing so cant get to the end to confirm the weapon. Both demos are on the psn store. This may also work on the xbox live versions but i dont use mine so cant confirm.

Hope this is of help and passing time and giving you all a boost when playing ME3.

The same thing applies to the 360 version of the Kingdoms demo.

There's a leaflet in the ME3 game box which tells you all about it.

Didn't play much of the Kingdoms demo when it came out, so probably missed out on the bonuses and I've started ME3 now, so won't be trying again. :)

How do you actually GET the KOAmalure stuff in ME3?

I played the demo, it said stuff was unlocked, but I can't find it anywhere as DL content. Does it just "show up" in game someplace?

I have not played my copy yet as I am still finishing Binary Domain, however, I have spoken to my brother and he says it just shows up in the armour/ weapon select screen. I guess this must be aboard the Normandy.

In-game, when you find weapon parts or armor parts, you can only use them when at benches (rarely found during the game) or on the Normandy.

Edit: Weapon unlockables will be available to choose the first time you find a weapon in-game, then you have the option to change/adjust your loadouts and can choose any found/unlocked.

Armor unlocked will be found in your locker on the Normandy.

Mine was food shopping and mainly washing clothes (using a twin tub/top loader, none of this easy-peasy modern thing of putting it in a machine, twisting a dial and it's done for you later).

Living on my own though, there's only me to do it all.

My (very) old one died last year after a lot of years service, had to look hard for a new one but there was a firm on eBay selling them.

They're a lot lighter (made mainly of plastic now) and I can actually pick it up when it hasn't got water in. :)

Only issue with it is that it's only got one pump for the washer and spinner to use, so to use the spinner you have to empty the washer of water first.

Lol, brings back memories of my mom doing the washing when i was a child. The machine was loud and steamed everywhere up. I used to hate that machine and i'm sure my mom did too

I've hardly played any mass effect 3 yet, only up to the point of waking the promethian. Oh if anyone wants the space hamster it is running around in engineering aboard the Normandy, down the stairs (where jack from ME2 was located but you have to be quick as it moves fast). There are various model kits scattered around the Normandy as well.

Steve I think you should treat yourself to a front loading automatic for Christmas lol,you won't know what's hit you lol

My mom wouldn't get rid of her twin tub either for years, she would be the perfect person to tell you how great a front loader is,she did take a lot of convincing, mind you I still don't think she knows how to use it but the washing gets done never the less lol

Can't fit a modern washer in my teeny tiny kitchen.

Can only just fit the twin tub in a gap between the cooker and the end wall. To use it I have to drag it out of its hole, putting it against the sink unit, almost stopping anyone getting past into the bathroom. :)

Not really a spoiler as this is the extra DLC content and advertised on psn.

There's a hell of a lot of talking and text in the game.

It's a story-driven RPG, not a shooter like Halo, CoD, etc., :)

Yeah I know,I may be blonde but I'm not dumb lol :D

But still it's a hell of a lot of talking, maybe it's because I'm watching and not playing,it seems boring and I'm sure watching your twin tub would be more exiting lol

Have you got far yourself,do you like the game?

I thought you meant Paul thought it was boring due to thinking it was like Halo.

I played through the first one three times, but for some reason got bored with the second game on the first play through. :?

This one seems to have the same magic as the first game, although they've kept the awful planet scanning from ME2. :|
