The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I might let myself be promoted, or promote myself, if France had something even remotely resembling a squad. So far, there's me and Christophe... and I haven't heard from him in a while.

OR, I might go for that Expanded Universe idea I've had and make a United Systems Navy uniform - in which case I'll just go straight to Captain (Navy rank). :P

Well, the rum would probably be Weyland-Yutani brand Rum ersatz, made with real by-products of terraforming plants' operations. Aside from that, yeah... :D

As for the uniform, anyone who wants to take a crack at it is welcome - it's just a vague project for now, so don't count on me...

If we can come up with a great design for the USS Chulamanis patch, I'll get them made. We need to incorporate "FNG" in to the design as well.

I think we should keep the same shape as the Sulacco patch with the peaked top.

So it would have to have "Colonial Marines", "USS Chulamanis", "USCM", "FNG" on it.

Just a thought, but FNG could be numerically shown as "6, 14, 7". Not saying the letters FNG shouldn't be used too, but since we'd be needing Reg. and Battalion numbers anyway it would be cool if they weren't just arbitrary.

Just my two cents!

ok kool i may add a little bit that was not on the other patchs. . i hope to have it done pretty quick since i dont have much to do at work but watch people clean.ok talked to some1 that knew him and wanted to find out what the FNG was about and now i kno wthat is something different i think i will change that part lol but might keep it. it will work boht ways. But any input of colors he liked if anyone know would be great, or anything that would be needed to do this.

I never knew Mr. Chulamanis, but I admire everyones respect and love for him. I always thought I would love to try and contribute to honouring his memory which so many of you hold dear. I haven't spoken of it yet for that very reason Dom. I don't know his wife. I also wonder if it isn't my place, considering I have never had the honourable pleasure of his acknowledgement, because I didn't even know AL existed then. I have gathered that he was an outstanding man, who was kind to all. I enjoy reading everyones fond memories of him, be it quotes, or even photographs of happy times.

Once permission is granted, I would also like to try some designs. I look forward to cosmo_kraemer's designs as well.

retrogarde, that is a fantastic idea for numbers!, it really gives meaning behind it.

i have stopped working on it for now until we get the ok. and learning that with what programs i have to work with it will be a pain to do. if anyone has input of what i should use for a program to use to to make the epic ones that others have posted.

I used a really old version of Adobe Photoshop Elements, I think its from like 2001 or something haha, and I also used CorelDRAW X4 which the machines at work run on. I would say use what you are comfortable with, you will get the best results that way :)

Here is the ship patch for the USS Albatross. And I believe that the Borealis (Moosh's ship) is UAS, not USS. She's part of the UACM.
